The ‘University Projects’ fund was launched by Perspectives – Study with the aim of providing financial and content-related support to projects at universities that promote university access for refugees. The central criterion is that the project activities focus on anchoring the programmes in the regular structure. We want the projects to become firmly anchored at the universities, develop further in terms of quality and be funded by the institutions and the public sector.
A call for proposals was published in February 2023 and 2024. The decision on the projects to be supported was made by a selection committee consisting of representatives of the Federal Commission on Migration (FCM), Allianz Chance+, HEKS MosaiQ, Perspektiven – Studium and a student with a refugee background at the University of Lucerne.
